Third post.....its......ALIVE!!!!

IN UR FACE YONG!!! Ok that's all I wanted to say. Baiiiiiii..........

But NO! I refuse to give into sloth and and and.....well....myself. Zhou has always hinted to us that he will be back this month and finally he has reached a decision. So barring airplane malfunctions or nuclear war, you will see his face in Malaysia on 31 July 2009.
I have no idea what we're gonna do when you're back though. Guess you can rot together with Daryl while I bring home the bread or chicken rice balls. Damn Blizzard for taking such a long time to complete Diablo 3. At least release Starcraft 2 first lah!

Who else is coming back? Hmm.....if not mistaken Fleur will be arriving tomorrow. I bet that the Deutschland will be missing her . Awww...........
which reminds me:

LONG LIVE SACRED GERMANY!!!

(Sidenote: Those were Tom Cruise's character's last words after he failed and is about to die a horrible death. There I spoiled it but don't worry it was hardly a must-watch movie and you don't exactly have to be a historian to know the ending)

The last time I met up with Fleur was in London along with Mariel. Those two came to me in my darkest hour of need. You see I don't mind going to a cinema to watch movies by myself, in fact I do it quite often. I'm thick skinned enough that I can walk into a restaurant and eat by myself. I didn't even mind walking around exploring a foreign city without any companions (coz my other friends only wanted to eat at China Town and shop all day) as I did in London where I went to visit Westminster Abbey, various other places, and of course to look up Daryl. But what I really really have never done alone before is to shop for clothes even for myself. I just can't decide on which/what to buy. It gets infinitely worse when I have to buy something for someone else! I just can't bear to see the look on their face when they pretend to like whatever you bought them and be obliged to use/wear it. Thats why in my legendary days (aka when I was still with she-who-shall-not-be-named), whenever I bought her something I usually stuck to flowers, jewelry, teddybears, Baskin Robbins, books and other misc stuff (shoes once) but never bags or clothes!

OK back to the original story, before I left for Europe my mum told me that I didn't have to buy anything for her since I didn't know her taste and had absolutely no clue on how to shop for woman's stuff (so true). I was relieved. But while I was in London, my mum suddenly called me to buy her a bag. I was abit stressed about it as being the good mama's boy that I am, I didn't want to disappoint her. Just at that very second, Fleur messaged me saying that she and Mariel will be in London the next day. I was like YAY!!!! They can do the shopping for me and I'll just pay!! (Obviously I didn't trust my own taste at ALL!)

Seriously I couldn't ask for better company as while the other girls in my Europe tour were all also crazy shoppers, they didn't know my mum and her taste.
Not only did the sisters recommend a variety of things to me, they also served as models! Exhibit A on the right. Haha. (Ok fine, I'm a sad little man that seldom hangs out with girls.) Naturally they got distracted and started to search for their own stuff to buy, especially Fleur, but Mariel was there to be her voice of reason =). After a few hours they eventually discovered an elegant-looking bag which I purchased without much hesitation. So I then sent them off at the train station, but not before I saved them from humiliation. You see Miss Fleur mistook the Arrival signboard for the Departure signboard. Surprisingly, I noticed the mistake in time and they didn't miss their train to Norwich. Come to think of it, I should of just kept quiet so that they would of stayed with me for a few more hours! Trust me when I say that honesty doesn't always yield the desired result unfortunately. =(

After that I rejoined my other friends and we went to The London Eye, which was a waste of pounds and a waste of time in my opinion. I seriously can't imagine why anyone will pay to go up the Eye On Malaysia. But oh well, I guess I shall speak more on the many interesting events that occurred during my Europe Trip in future posts, since I never really talked much about it to anyone.

Come to think of it, I elaborated on the first question of my Facebook quiz in the previous post and have now without realising, elaborated on the second question in this post. Based on this trend, my blog will last at least another 8 posts. Who's willing to bet with Yong that this blog can survive 20 posts? Kochi, let me introduce you to a wonderful concept. Oh yea Zhou, you asked me how I met Yong? I think it was at your old house. Either that or it was at Cikgu Azman's tuition. Don't really remember considering Yong isn't exactly a luscious Victoria's Secret supermodel... LOL!
(DROP DEAD YOU FATTY!!) Oops, did I say that out loud? Man I'm such a jerk. Yong has always been there for me to whine at and this is how I repay him. Sorry for the random ramblings.

Yong is back in KL. Daryl is going to Singapore. Su Anne is leaving for Bangkok this Thursday. Later on she will also be going to Cambodia to help the needy in the streets. That's so awesome. But while my my friend is out there changing the world, I am sitting in front of my desk changing numbers for the people who are changing the world. I don't really like to talk about my work but I guess I will in my next post. That's the point of blogging right?

On a sadder note, my friend Henky's father passed away last night/this morning (details are still coming in). So if you know Henky please send your condolences to him and his family. I have lost friends and classmates over the years, but I'm sure that's nothing compared to losing a father or mother.

Henky, my prayers are with you.
