Woke up at 4am for this:

Was feeling a little emo today and there was nothing my "Inner Council" could do. So I consulted Dr.Phang, who apparently was emo-ing too.

Gotta follow Doctor's orders. Coz I don't want to be more stupid than I already am. T__T

What I have learnt from my numerous emo-ing adventures is that the less idle time you have = the less time you have to emo. So I'm gonna give a brief recap of the positives of this fun albeit short trip to Singapore.

1. Proved that my sense of direction is good

My mum always says that my sense of direction is horrible, coz I always fail to navigate around Melaka. But strangely enough, I have never gotten lost in a foreign city before. I think my 'navigation system' is only enabled when I'm outside my comfort zone. Left Melaka and reached Meow's house in an hour, and then got to LCCT without any mistakes (well apart from tat one roundabout, and the roundabout before that -__-). Then I eventually got us to Marriott Hotel on Orchard without breaking a sweat.

Taken by Meow in the plane.

2. We were at the right place at the right time

Why do I say this? Because the names of the first speakers of the two forums we attended were Philip and Melissa respectively. LOL! Coincidence?

3. Met up with old friends

Well not so much in my case, but Ah Meow certainly met up with several old friends at the exhibition. In fact they had to line up to talk to her. Serious. SHE SO FAMOUS WAN. I was like the bodyguard asking them to queue up.

But the most amazing thing was that one of them actually recognised me from Europe. *BREAKTHROUGH* I am actually memorable! Oh and her name is Melissa too -__- See that's why I call you Ah Meow instead.

4. Met someone new

Even someone as anti-social as myself acknowleges that its always good to meet someone new. Everyone say hi to Adeline.

4. Made contributions to unfortunate children.

So happened that Maggie Moo's (the no.1 selling ice-cream brand in US) were having their opening day at 313 Somerset. All proceeds that day were going to Make-A-Wish-Foundation. Needless to say, I made a lot of contributions.

5. Gained some knowledge about cosmetics.

Spent some time at Sephora trying to unravel the mysteries of the cosmetic industry. Like Meow always tells me, "You everything also dunno, how to buy for gf next time?" But then again, buying cosmetics for my gf would be insulting her natural beauty no?

Yes I have faith that my future gf will be gorgeous, but its far more important for her to be able to turn hearts and not just heads. I really liked the Vanilla-flavoured skin lotion though, made me feel like eating my own hand.

6. Learned to Smile (well kinda)

While waiting in the airport Meow was teaching me how to smile, since excessive pouting has obviously made me forget how to smile. She couldn't stop laughing at my failed attempts so I didn't get any clear instructions. I look like a ham sap lou in the last pic. Yea yea I'm disgusting.

7. Proved that I was fit enough drive back home

A lot of people were recommending that I not come home straight. After all I only had 3 hours plus of sleep (stupid fireworks) and I had a long exhausting day walking around in Orchard and Somerset. Oh and did I mention that we had to run like mad in Changi Airport to try catch our flight back. We were too early so we lanci and ended up stoning, cam-whoring and shopping before eventually realising that we only had 10 mins left to find the terminal, get past customs and unto the plane before the gate closes. Thank God we made it.

So yea I was really tired and felt like I could die anytime on the road back to Melaka but every time my eyes were about to close I chewed my gum faster and harder and I sang along with the praise songs all the more louder. Oh and btw it didn't rain anymore, so it was YOUR singing that caused the rain earlier k? HAHA!

Nuuuu joking nia please don't merajuk T_T, and yes thanks for allowing me to tag along. I had fun  =)

So that's about it. Time to catch up on my sleep. Nitez~
